UPDATE:
I returned here reluctantly, but I'm glad I did. The cobb salad is outstanding and the service was better, though will a bit grumpy. While I may not return for the wings or other menu items, I'll gladly return for the salads.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Wish the food were better. Parmesan garlic wings tasted like they had a white cream based sauce similar to fettuccini Alfredo sauce. Very bizarre and not at all appealing. Which is a shame because they were cooked just fine - just drenched in sauce. Less is more!
Buffalo chicken sandwich was fine enough. No complaints. Fries are a little soggy. Wish they were crispy.
Service - fine - nothing special or superb. The waiter wasn't super happy either.
Overall - wasn't displeased but wasn't impressed. I won't be rushing to come back.
Large overstuffed sandwiches & big plates. Chicken salad was stuffed with honey flavored, pulled white breast meat. Had to take half home. Sweet potato fries were fresh & flavorful. Tortilla chips were served warm with a large bowl of delicious salsa. Reubens had a generous portion of sauerkraut. The service was excellent! Can't say enough about our waitress!
So, my daughter and I had a eye appointment a few exits up. My eyes were still dilated and sensitive. So we got off the exit in search of food but saw a bunch of fast food restaurants. (We despise fast food lol ) we saw Brickhouse in the shopping center and I thought it would have dim lighting to some regard. I was right! The atmosphere was perfect! Our server Gabi seemed to be the only one working. Besides us, there may have been 3 other tables. That quickly changed yet her stellar service did not. She was very punctual in responding to our needs. The food came out fast, done and delicious! I really wish I had to come to this side of town more so I have a reason to come back. Can’t wait for the next reason!
This restaurant/bar has a quaint cozy feel even though it is smack in the middle of a strip mall. The burger and fries were delicious. The server was friendly and a hard worker.
My only complaint and reason for the low rating is the cleanliness of the glasses. The water glasses were spotty and lip stained. However, the initial glass they served my wine to me was covered in lip stains as well as grimy greasy film over the entirety of the outside of the glass. I immediately asked for a clean glass. The next glass was barely better. It looked like they attempted to wipe the rim of the glass. It still looked filthy like it had never seen the inside of a dishwasher or a sink of soap, much less polished clean and dry.
For the prices charged and the cozy atmosphere, (and huge bar dominating the room) I would expect a minimum of clean bar ware.
Pretzel sticks and sauce were excellent. Fish and chips were way better than I was expecting. Really good fries. Coleslaw seemed fresh but lacked flavor. Was missing something. I will definitely go back and try something else though.
First time coming here, and very glad I did. Service was excellent, the Thursday lunch staff was incredibly kind. I had the BLUE Burger and it did not disappoint. The blue cheese was melting off the patty and 98% of the food and sauces are made in house from scratch. They even let me try the sweet potato fries because they had extra's and I have never been a big fan, but these were incredible. I will def be going back.
This place has gone way downhill. The salmon used to be good. It’s now a hard piece of gray looking material. That doesn’t even resemble salmon. Not even edible. Nothing tastes fresh and it’s just overall very bad. Our waitress was nice and helpful.
We were out shopping from out of town and decided to try this local eatery at lunchtime! We were not disappointed. The waitress was very good and cheerful and the food was just right! One of us had the Rachel Special and the other had soup and salad. Will go back when I’m in the area again.
